Meet Gregory Wagner

Greg’s interest in photography began in 1974 when his father gave him his first “serious” camera as a gift, a Minolta SRT 101 at the ripe old age of 20.  Photography quickly consumed him and barely a year after getting his first camera Greg had already set up a full darkroom in the basement.

Over the following decade Greg’s love of photography evolved from hobby to obsession and by the mid 1980’s he decided to take the plunge and go into photography as a full-time profession.  His first “big break” came in late 1985 when the Chicago Cubs baseball fantasy camp contracted Greg as their official photographer and because Greg was, and still is, a die-hard Cubs fan with an interest in sports photography, it was a perfect fit.  Sports photography is still Greg’s day job and his other website www.wagnerphotography.com is dedicated to that aspect of his professional life.

This website is dedicated to the artistic, creative and mellow side of Greg’s life in photography, far removed from the action and intensity of shooting sports action.  Please feel free to browse through all of the galleries and be sure to come back often.  This website will be constantly updated with new releases, concepts, ideas and uniqueness.
