What is more representative of Florida than an alligator?  Nothing, actually.  And one of the very best things about the location of my home is the little natural lake and cypress preserve right out my back door, literally.  It’s so great when wildlife makes house calls to a wildlife photographer.  Yes, this ‘gator was less than 100 feet away from my back porch when the photo was taken.
